Honey Cakes

Cake dough
100 g all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder (± 1 ml)
1/3 tsp ground cinnamon (± 2 ml)
1/3 tsp ground ginger (± 2 ml)
25 g sugar
1 medium egg
75 ml vegetable oil
75 g honey
1 pinch salt
 
Glazing and decoration
50 g honey
Sugar paste (white, yellow and black)

Preheat the oven to Th 6 / 180°C without convection.

Mix all ingredients of the cake dough in the EZ Mix N Store 1.25L using the KPT Whisk.

Place the SBF Mini Football on the cold oven rack and divide the contents of the EZ Mix N Store into the six cavities.

Place the rack at the lowest level in the oven and bake for approx. 25 min.

Remove from oven, cover with a clean kitchen towel and allow to stand for 10 min. then unmold.

In the MicroCook Pitcher 1L, microwave the 50 g honey for glazing for 20 sec. at 600 watts. Using the Basting Brush, baste the top of the cakes with the warm honey and allow to cool.

Decorate with little bees made of sugar paste.
