Blueberry and Pecan Quinoa Porridge

80 g quinoa
250 ml water
125 ml coconut milk
200 g frozen blueberries
3 tbsp honey (± 45 ml)
40 g pecan nuts

Rinse the quinoa using the Chinois.

In the Microwave Rice Maker, combine the quinoa and 250 ml water, then cover and microwave for 13 min. at 600 watts. Allow to stand for 10 min. Add the coconut milk and stir using the Silicone Spatula Thin.

In the MicroCook Pitcher 1L, mix the frozen blueberries with the honey and microwave for 3 min. at 600 watts, stirring halfway through.

Serve the quinoa porridge warm with the cold blueberries and pecan nuts.

(*) Pecan nuts can be replaced by cashew or pine nuts, according to taste.

QUINOA has a good amount of protein due to the fact that it’s from the same family as seeds.It contains a lot of minerals including manganese, beneficial to tissues, cartilages and bones.
